High Security Euro Cylinder

A euro cylinder but with many more security features such as anti-snap, anti-drill, anti-bump and anti-pick. These locks will often come with restricted keys which can only be copied by registered companies and with the relevant ownership criteria.

Many companies produce these locks including Mul-T-Lock, Evva, ABS and Yale.

Restricted Key

A restricted key, also known as a restricted keyway or restricted key system, refers to a type of key that is designed to provide a higher level of security and key control. In a restricted key system, keys are specially designed and manufactured to be unique to a specific lock or group of locks within a system.

Night Latch

Multipoint Lock

Commonly found on UPVC doors and less so on wooden and metal doors. Operated by either lifting the handle up to engage the locking points or a keywind version which is locked by a couple of rotations of the key.

They will have various locking points such as hooks, rollers and bolts which are locked in place by the turn of a key. There are numerous manufacturers of this type of lock, amongst them are Yale, Winkhaus, KFV, Fuhr, Fullex, GU, and Millenco.

Euro Escape Lock

An escape lock is used in situations where an emergency escape may be required. This could be due to fire safety regulations in a HMO, a business premises or for ease of use on a residential door.
